I have not had any trouble assembling or using these stands with Bose speakers. I did not want to mount speakers in the rear of my room and this allows me to move and configure the sound as desired.
However, despite the very elegant and balanced design, the bottom line for me is that this really is just a hunk of iron... and an expensive one at that. It does the job well that it was designed to do.
